More FAQ’s that we are here to help with
- Are you Eco-Friendly?
- Yes, we use water-based inks for all our apparel, which is not only biodegradable to the environment, our DTF print method helps reduce up to 75% of textile ink wastes that occur in most standard screen print shops. Our paper products also use eco-friendly inks and varying portion of all paper products (each stock yields different percentages) are created on recycled paper as well!
- Can I pay with Cashapp, Crypto or Venmo?
- If you leave items in your cart, this option might be considered upon contacting us. We try not to give people reasons they CAN’T pay us with, except Crypto Currencies. We do not have a system in place to accept those transaction methods.
- Can you print items or apparel brands / colors NOT listed on your website?
- Yes and no. Majority of the options and variables on our site are items that we have close access to or try to keep in stock. This means items we do NOT keep in stock disrupt the production chains and sometimes it’s easier to turn down a custom job than to slow things down to entertain the idea of fulfillment. If something isn’t listed you can always contact us and we will be happy to discuss your custom request further, even if briefly.
- Can you print the Union Bug?
- Unfortunately no. Because we utilize multiple facilities for specific items, we can not guarantee the ability to print a Union Bug and we don’t want to be caught false flagging either!
- Can you ship internationally?
- At the current moment, that system isn’t available on our site, BUT if you’re willing to contact us we may be able to handle that request for you for close domestic neighbors like Canada.
- Do you do charity and promotional printing for exposure and advertisement?
- Typically this answer will be a no, however there are instances where we might be willing to sponsor an event or small entity in exchange for promotional outlet opportunities or a discounted rate on specific items in exchange for promotion. Let’s say this is a grey area answer that lightens up on a per situation basis, but usually we will politely respond with a no thank you. After all, a lot of “exposure” isn’t ALWAYS a good thing, ask the guys (like me) who screen printed for years! (A Dad Joke about screen printing…..)
- Do you offer graphic design services?
- Sometimes in life you have to choose where your time is best spent, therefore we do NOT currently offer in house designing services from anyone at The Print Remedy. However, we have a list of individuals, free-lancers and professional career graphic designers that are willing to help you and do well by our name and reputation in the process. Send us a message and we can put you in contact with someone we trust!
- Do you offer local pickup?
- Yes and No. Just about everything is shipped and accounted for via tracking numbers. Local pickup options are only available on DTF Sheets, Printer Parts and full color Apparel Printing.
- Do you even lift bro?
- To keep it 100, not at all. No cap either.
- Have you ever printed for anyone famous?
- Yes! Many musicians, corporations and small businesses have utilized our services over the years whether under the imprint of The Print Remedy, or individually through a more personal ordering method before being established as an entity. We’ve also done a great deal of political printing to aid in campaigns at city and state levels.
- How long does it take to print and ship an order once placed?
- Every product has an estimated production time listed in their description on a given average workload. Keep in mind on heavy weeks this may vary, and sometimes we can knock it out faster. As a broker AND manufacturer, some items may ship from us directly while others might ship from production facilities. All orders will be followed up with a proper tracking number.
- How can I receive a special discount or coupon for my next order?
- Everyone likes to save money when they can and make money when they can right? Well we will gladly save you money if you by sign up to receive e-mails from us! Coupons given will be available to view in you “My Account” section. Don’t worry, we don’t spam you all week long with promotions. (insert offender names here)
- What came first, the chicken or the egg?
- This is a loaded question! But I have logic behind the answer! Some say the chicken because it has to lay the egg, other say the egg because a chicken must hatch from it to become a chicken. I say the birds and the bees convo comes into play here! Most hens lay unfertilized eggs, as they never come in contact with a rooster who can fertilize it. Therefore, a chicken MUST come first or else the egg could never have been fertilized by a male in the first place so that it CAN hatch into a baby chicken! That’s my answer! “A Chicken came first!” (no pun, get your mind out the gutter!)
- What do you mean, you’re a broker and manufacturer?
- As a broker, we have facilities that handle the printing process for us on specific items. They are fully entrusted within our network with established relationships and due to the amount of work we bring them, we have a wholesale account when purchasing work orders. This mean we get items wholesale, add our markup and try to keep our retail prices competitive and sometimes lower than our competition based on the supply, demand and volume that we receive and output.
- What is your Return Policy? – That can be found here.
- What temperature settings do I use for DTF Transfer Sheets?
- Heat presses can vary in how even heat distribution is on it’s platen surface but for most of our transfers, set your heat press to 315F, pre-press the garment for 5 seconds to remove moisture then align the transfer sheet on the garment. Press it for 15-20 seconds at 315F and remove from the heat press. You can warm or cold peel the film, then once removed press the garment again (this time with a Teflon Sheet or Parchment Paper) for an additional 15 seconds so let the ink sit in the fabric a bit more and improve durability.
